Great OEM filter
Great OEM factory filter that is the same as the one that comes with the vacuum when you buy the vacuum. Don't bother to wash this filter as the user manual says you can. It will stink terribly because you can't get all the lint and dirt out of it. I had to soak the plastic cannister parts in ammonia water to get the smell out after I washed the original filter, dried it, & vacuumed with it. YIKES! What a smell. Just toss it and get a new one every time.
Vacuum Sucks Again!
My eureka was slowing down a bit and none of my attempts to clean the filter were met with succcess. Finally I sought out a replacement (this one) and it's like a new machine. I wish amazon would add this to their subscription tool so I could just get a new one every 6 months or so. Yes it clogs and needs replacement, that's the point, now all that crap isn't in my carpet or air!
Vacuum Filter Review
This is the official filter for my vacuum. I made the (costly) mistake of buying an unofficial one at walmart and it didnt actually fit properly. This one does and works a lot more efficiently.
