Lasko Personal Fan#2002W, 6 Inches, White

It just keeps working
That's what a fan should do, keep working. I have it on my desk at work running 24/7 for about a year now. Lasko fans are also quieter than many others, it does not disturb conversations, in fact I usually forget it is running.

Great little bedside or cubicle fan
Great little fan that is small enough for a bedside but powerful enough that you'll want to turn it down to low most of the time. This little guy pushes around a surprising amount of air -- easily besting Duracraft and Honeywell models that are larger. Nice little touch is the small cup area on the base -- perfect for little things in the cubical world (paper clips, etc) or bedside (ear plugs, nail clippers, etc).

Very quiet, little or no air whoosh but the motor does make a somewhat higher-pitched low noise on either speed.

Probably the quietest, cheapest 6" fan out there...
We needed a quiet fan for our kid's room. We looked at several fans and decided to buy the supposedly "quiet" Vornado. Big mistake! We wanted a quiet fan for the kids, but ended up deciding we also wanted a quiet fan for us as well. The knob on the back that switches between OFF and levels 1 and 2 has a nice design.

Rating:
Noise: 10 out of 10 (whisper quiet - can't tell its on when down the hall or other side of their room)
Price: 10 out of 10 (there may be a fan just as good in design/low-noise, but not for the price - closest competitor was $10 more)
Design: 8 out of 10 (it is sturdy and doesn't have...
